Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center Opens in Georgia

As reported by Healthcare Construction + Operations News, Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center has opened in Grovetown, Georgia, expanding access to care across Columbia County and the Central Savannah River Area. Designed by SmithGroup, the new campus includes a 100-bed hospital with emergency, surgical, imaging, specialty and inpatient services.

The facility incorporates adaptable patient care environments, technology-enabled connectivity and planning strategies that support operational flexibility, staff collaboration and future growth.
