Challenge and complexity draw in Armen. It’s why he enjoys research in physics and astronomy, and what he appreciates about designing mechanical systems for laboratories and healthcare facilities, especially if they have the added challenge and complexity of net zero and carbon neutral goals. “To get to a better future requires effort and sacrifice in the right time and the right opportunity,” he suggests. Armen has bright hopes for the future, imagining a day when “humanity is prosperous, peaceful and has colonized space,” he says. Until then, Armen’s travel destinations are more likely to take him to Lebanon, to reconnect with old friends in his country of birth.
