Coty Marie Sandberg
“Architecture is the only art form in which we dwell, work, play, learn and heal,” notes Coty, “so it has incredible power to transform everything from simple, everyday interactions to complex organizations.” Coty says she’s constantly pushing toward “greater-ness.” “I strive to think bigger and beyond the ordinary, invoking wonder and delight into the spaces I create,” she explains. Coty is also working on evoking wonder and delight in her garden. “I’m convinced green thumbs can be learned, and dahlias were my first experiment,” she says. “I read everything I could, made countless mistakes, and enjoyed my first crop of giant, colorful blooms last year.”
