“I see patterns and relationships between people and space,” Holly remarks. “By understanding our clients and end users, their design story starts to evolve in my head to create something that is truly unique for them.” Holly feels especially fortunate to work in the Science & Technology and Higher Education markets. “We have the privilege of designing spaces for brilliant individuals and organizations, enabling these remarkable people to achieve even greater accomplishments,” she says. Holly is a fan of the Salk Institute’s elegant design, drawn to its minimal use of materials, intentional details and site overlooking the Pacific. She even has a core sample of the building. “It reminds me to push the big idea, practice restraint and create opportunity to be connected to the surrounding nature,” she says. Holly surrounds herself in nature by backpacking, rafting and other outdoor pursuits, and would love to explore Patagonia and New Zealand.
