“The hard workers of the world” are front and center for Lesley when designing workplaces. “I want their space to be so supportive and intuitive that all their valuable time and energy can go toward their passions,” she says. Lesley particularly enjoys working with small, growing businesses. “Their entrepreneurship is inspiring, and it’s rewarding to bring knowledge and solutions from larger, established projects to benefit them.” Lesley is an enthusiastic hiker, an avocation that began with a childhood hike to Boundary Peak along the California border with her family. “It created a deep love of outdoor adventures that is part of what inspires and energizes me today,” Lesley remarks. Hiking Madeira’s “Stairway to Heaven” and tracing her Portuguese family roots is on Lesley’s wish list.
