Since opening its first chicken wing restaurant in 1994, Wingstop has quickly expanded into a global brand with more than 1,850 restaurants across the globe. As the company grew, the size and traditional style of its leased headquarters space no longer suited Wingstop’s fast-paced growth and fun-loving company culture. Wingstop made the decision to purchase an existing three-story commercial building so it could create an engaging and inspiring workplace that speaks to its people and its brand and helps further its mission to Serve the World Flavor.

Two monumental staircases—one at the entrance and another centered in the workspace—are fundamental to the design, emphasizing the company’s interactive work style. They create a literal and visual connection among employees, prompting spontaneous interaction and providing places to sit and gather.

The third floor is also devoted to connection and interaction. “The Coop” provides a variety of informal social spaces, including a rooftop, kitchen, café seating, ping pong and pool tables and a large meeting space. The space is well-suited for hosting events, social gatherings and tastings. The third floor also includes a library space for quiet breaks, which also showcases the organizations many accolades and achievements. The design allows for scalable growth, with room for a test kitchen, gym and other amenities that may be added as the space evolves.

The team worked with an environmental graphics firm, Square Peg Design, on the bold branding that highlights interior finishes of wood and metal. Company catchphrases (like “Humble Hungry Smart”) dominate the monumental stair, meeting rooms named for wing flavors emblazoned with large block letters and the signature Wingstop green provides bright pops of color on walls and the vaulted barrel ceiling.

The entry features the company’s logo and slogan, “Serving the World Flavor,” to create an “Instagrammable” opportunity for visitors and immediately captures Wingstop’s character and vision upon entering the space.

The new Wingstop Headquarters, dubbed the “GSC” or Global Support Center, not only provides employees with a fresh, vibrant and collaborative space to work in, but a place to help drive innovation and future growth of this famous brand.
