As the world adopts new ways of working, learning and living in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SmithGroup is helping our clients and communities respond with a future-focused attitude about the immediate and long-term implications. This includes converting a convention center into a hospital decompression site, mobilizing public-private partnerships, and using 3D printing to create shields for healthcare workers. We are also adapting the way we work, utilizing new tools to succeed in a virtual environment, and sharing best practices for online design development and public engagement.
