Brent Brown

As an engineer, Brent brings a passion for environmental stewardship and innovative problem-solving to every project. "I’ve always been drawn to protecting and restoring natural systems," he says. Inspired by a childhood spent traveling the country with his family and exploring the outdoors, Brent developed an early appreciation for the connection between water, nature, and community. “A high school earth science project examining stormwater runoff sparked my interest in water resources and set me on a path toward environmental engineering,” he says. Brent’s expertise spans streams, rivers, lakes, shorelines, and watersheds, allowing him to approach complex challenges from a broad and integrated perspective. He is particularly energized by multidisciplinary projects that balance societal benefits, permit compliance, cost, and environmental protection. "I’m at my best when there’s no roadmap and the team needs to innovate," he notes. Outside of work, Brent enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons. He is also an avid restorer of classic cars, combining his love of mechanics, problem-solving, and hands-on craftsmanship.
