Josh Vacca

After shadowing an architect for a day when he was in high school, Josh says he "immediately knew this is what I was meant to do." Not only is he passionate about his profession, Josh appreciates the impact it’s made on his personal life, too. "Being an architect is all about problem solving," he explains. "Architecture has led me to become more well-rounded in my everyday interactions, to stop and logically solve a problem rather than just react." Josh takes pride in working on higher education projects. "We focus on designing solutions for student success," he says. "I truly believe that great design can enhance the student experience, lead to greater retention and graduation, and contribute to the extended benefits of an educated society." Outside the office, Josh makes time to get out and "enjoy the tranquility of nature," camping, backpacking and on long road bike rides.
