As director of architecture, Patty is responsible for establishing strategies for innovation and consistency in practice and project delivery throughout the firm.  "Project delivery is the work we do, the tools we utilize to do it and the interactions we have with our partners, clients and contractors, each changing and impacting the others," she says. Patty also serves as a project architect, leading collaborative partnerships with integrated teams to deliver a broad range of noteworthy projects. She is focused on achieving the highest level of work in design, practice, delivery and service. She volunteers time to advance the practice of architecture within her community. She has served on the board of directors for AIA Detroit since 2016, and began Detroit Women in Architecture – an informal group that supports and advances women in architecture in the Detroit area. When not thinking about architecture, she is probably "in or on the water somewhere," in a kayak or sailboat with her family.
