With a degree in sociology as well as architecture, Aimee is intrigued by the study of people and how we are affected by our environment. “I want to go beyond the physical structure and focus on shaping experiences, influencing thoughts and evoking emotions in the built environment,” Aimee explains. “I am merely the curator of elements, challenged to create spatial, holistic and multi-dimensional experiences.” She describes architecture as a bridge, a way to explore music, poetry, art and sciences, and how they can be integrated into different forms. Aimee is a classically trained pianist and can also draw upon her worldly upbringing for inspiration, being a citizen of several countries.  She loves learning about different cultures and her idea escape is to Japan with her family, to “eat delicious food, enjoy onsen, and see cool art and architecture.”
