Sheri Andrews

As a leader in cultural and institutional design, Sheri brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to shaping environments that connect people, place and purpose. "I’ve always been drawn to how public spaces influence the way people gather, learn and connect," she says. With expertise in guiding complex projects through entitlements, multi-agency coordination, and integrated design processes, Sheri ensures alignment across architecture, exhibit design, and operations from concept through completion."I focus on creating inclusive, welcoming environments that reflect both client mission and community context," she adds. Sheri is especially passionate about adaptive reuse and immersive exhibit experiences that prioritize how people move and engage. "Good design should make people feel welcome in the spaces they share." Outside of the studio, Sheri enjoys discovering the vibrant communities and iconic architecture that define Chicago's neighborhoods, staying active with her fitness community, and whenever possible, setting off to explore new destinations around the world.
