Michael Johnson

Michael likes to keep active - he enjoys running, cycling, skiing and hiking with his wife, Jill, and spending time with his two kids, Kellan and Reagan. That's a good thing, considering his work as a landscape architect and his role as leader of the Ohio/Michigan Urban Design studio keep him on the move, too. "I work on projects around the world and have the unique opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life," he notes with enthusiasm. Michael has many talents and expertise, but his greatest professional superpower is his ability to distill complex urban challenges and create people-centric and system-scale solutions that have transformative social, economic, ecological and physical impact within communities.
